Saudosismo é uma merda. Mexer em algo que para uns é sagrado, também. O fato é que, por mais que você lembre com carinho, apesar do visual incrível, as história dos Thundercats eram ruins demais. Já o remake une o melhor dos dois mundos: um visual caprichado alinhado a um roteiro coerente e menos clichê que o original. A história foi bem alterada, mas nesse novo contexto, até o insosso do Tygra está muito mais bacana.
- Estreia apenas em 2012 no Brasil.
- O sétimo episódio da primeira temporada conta com a participação especial dos SilverHawks.
- O Panthro da versão original, de só de cueca com aquele suspensório de espinhos, sei não…

O novo Thundercats está, deixando o saudosismo de lado, muitas vezes melhor do que o original. No desenho antigo, aparentemente, ninguém teve a ideia de usar roupas espelhadas ou, simplesmente, andar com um espelho no bolso contra o Mumm-Ra.
Além disso, o novo parece que fugirá do maniqueísmo. No primeiro episódio, já mostra que a raça dos "gatos" escravizava e descia a lenha nas outras raças do planeta. E, num episódio recente, os Thundercats aparecem, num flashback, como aliados do Mumm-Ra.

Ainda não cheguei nesse episódio, mas só o fato deles não terem construído uma toca dos gatos a aprtir do nada, já me deixa muito feliz…

No setimo episodio os SilverHawks nao aparecem nao. So o Monstro Estelar aparece rapidamente.
